He has performed thousands of colonoscopies and endoscopies to improve patients' gastrointestinal health.

His extensive gastroenterology training was acquired at Kings College affiliated hospitals in England, St. Louis University Hospital, and Queens University group of hospitals in Canada. Dr. Indrakrishnan is a fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American College of Physicians, the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and the Royal College of Physicians in London.
